We generally throw our net far and wide, having a very generous definition of horror film, so sometimes, we’ll do horror-adjacent films and sometime even other films from other genres that we think horror fans will enjoy. 

Overall, you end up with more reviews here than anywhere else.

Unlike many other sources of horror information on the web, we’re mature, experienced reviewers, and we generally don’t get taken in by the hype that so many new movies spew forth. Also, we make our money from the sales of the magazine itself and subscriptions; we don’t have advertisers, so we aren’t influenced by any outside forces.
